BOOtique Spooktacular
Pie Walk
What is the BOOtique Spooktacular Pie Walk?
This year, we’re putting a Halloween twist on an old-school carnival favorite and raising money for the Northshore Food Bank while we do it.
Welcome to the BOOtique Spooktacular Pie Walk, where local bakeries, restaurants, businesses, organizations, and community members can donate their most delicious pies for a day filled with food, fun, music, and a little friendly luck.
The Pie Showcase
Before they become prizes, the pies become part of the show.
Beautiful, delicious, outrageous, traditional, homemade or bakery-perfect... we want them all.
Pies donated by businesses, bakeries, community organizations, and individuals will be displayed during BOOtique Spooktacular, along with signage recognizing the people and businesses who contributed them.
Apple. Pecan. Pumpkin. Chocolate. Sweet potato. Something your grandmother invented in 1974 and refuses to give anyone the recipe for.
If it’s a pie, it belongs at BOOtique Spooktacular.
Guests can check out the Pie Showcase, discover some of the incredible bakers and businesses in our community, and then purchase chances to take one home during the Pie Walk.
Best of all, the fun has a purpose:
Proceeds from the BOOtique Spooktacular Pie Walk benefit the Northshore Food Bank.
The Pie Walk
Think musical chairs.
Except nobody fights over a chair. You win PIE.
Guests purchase a ticket to participate and choose a numbered spot around the Pie Walk. When the music starts, everybody walks.
The music stops.
A number is drawn.
And whoever is standing on that number gets to head over to the Pie Showcase and choose a pie to take home.
Then we reset and do it again.
It’s simple. It’s nostalgic. It’s a little chaotic.
And somebody walks away holding dessert like they just won the lottery.
More Than Pie
The BOOtique Spooktacular Pie Walk is designed to do something bigger than simply add another activity to the day.
It gives our local businesses, bakers, organizations, and neighbors an easy way to contribute.
It gives our guests something genuinely fun to experience together.
And every walk around that circle helps support the Northshore Food Bank and its work feeding families throughout our community.
So donate a pie.
Buy a chance.
Take a walk.
Maybe leave with dessert.
And help us turn a little Halloween fun into something that does a whole lot of good.
I want to donate a pie to the Pie Contest and help end hunger in St. Tammany,
Sign me up!
